Internet Search
The internet has information on almost anything you can think of.
Here are some handy
search engines--
pages that will search
the internet for you
![]()
Some helpful hints for searching:
Make sure you spell everything right.
Try to use more than one word or phrase.
Name your category;
e.g., "Rams Football" or "Dodge Ram Pickup."
Be specific and don't
just put "rams."
If you are searching
and you click on something
that is inappropriate,
click "Back" or X out right away.
Bookmarks or Favorites
If you find a website
you really like,
you can bookmark it
so that you
can find it again
later.
If you are using Internet
Explorer,
click on "Favorites,"
then "Add Favorite," then "OK."
If you are using Netscape,
click on "Bookmarks,"
then "Add Bookmark."
Later this year, Mrs.
Miller will
teach you how to create
folders
and how to save your
bookmarks into folders.
This page created December,
2001,

with just a little
help from Lori.
